Throughout this term, I have been reading the first book in the Divergent series by Veronica Roth.
In this dystopian thriller, society is split into ‘factions’ based on their key personality traits and/or values. I gained an insight into how even in real life we can easily categorise people and make assumptions based on a few things when we don’t completely know someone.
I enjoyed reading this novel and following the plot due to the exciting and threatening events that take place and the intense romantic relationships that are developed along the way.
Definitely would recommend this book if you are looking for some escapism during this pandemic!
