This movie is about: “While out hunting, Llewelyn Moss finds the grisly aftermath of a drug deal. Though he knows better, he cannot resist the cash left behind and takes it with him. The hunter becomes the hunted when a merciless killer named Chigurh picks up his trail. Also looking for Moss is Sheriff Bell, a lawman who reflects on a changing world and a dark secret of his own, as he tries to find and protect Moss” (IMBD).
My Review: Overall I think No Country for Old Men was a good movie as it was fairly easy to follow. Parts of the plot seemed to have holes : one, in particular, is where the large sum of money initially came from. The movie features an abstract use of colours, shots and lighting as well as character choice further making it stand out from many others. I feel as though it was a good movie however wouldn’t recommend to friends or family as they would most definitely make a harsh judgement and question why I would watch something so abstract and ‘weird’.
